Jewish Prague: At the Crossroads of History

Special Zoom Event for Agnon House Travelers – Wednesday, June 10
In preparation for the upcoming Agnon House tour of Prague, Vienna and Budapest join us for a Zoom lecture overview with our friend, guide, and tecaher Dr. David I. Bernstein on the history of Jewish Prague — more than a millennium of Jewish life in “the crossroads of Europe.” We will survey the origins of Jewish life in the city, its Golden Age, confrontation with modernity, the impact of the Shoah, and the community’s limited revival after the fall of Communism.
This event is themed with our upcoming visit to Prague, but also open to all present and former Agnon House travelers.
Wednesday, June 10 at 7:00pm (Israel time) = Noon Eastern
Click here to register for the Zoom (recording will be available for those unable to join in person).
